State Farm® Insurance Agent Brigid Mulligan

"State Farm is a terrible company and this agent is even worse. I attempted to call the office to make a complaint against the company from a situation that left me at risk because their roadside assistance is absolutely useless. The office never answers the phone. They never called back after leaving a message. I decide to take matters into my own hands and cut ties with State Farm and move to another insurance company. I called back to cancel my insurance and explain the situation to Brigid’s office. I ask “do you need anything else from me for the cancellation” and the response I get is “No you don’t need to send anything your cancellation is processed today (3/27/2026).” After I get off of work I notice I don’t receive any type of cancellation notice or confirmation or anything and the office is closed by this point so I just assume maybe it’ll be in effect the following day. I decide to call this morning 3/28/2026 to confirm with customer service and they said the policy is STILL in effect. Customer service CANNOT cancel my policy and an agent has to directly cancel it and because it is the weekend the office isn’t open until Monday and they can only send a message to the agent and I’ll probably have to persistently call them then as well because they just do not like to answer the phone. And this company believes I will give them any more money after I pay them to use their services and they can’t even get me a tow 10 minutes away to a shop and they have incompetent agents working for them? I have filed a complaint with the state as well. Do not use State Farm nor this agent. Shop around for infinitely better options."

After moving to Winchester recently, we started to see itemized bills for the first time and realized we have paid $2000, Since 2014, for items that should have been taken off our bill years ago (ie Renters insurance for our daughters college apartment (in 2014!). Ask for an itemized bill and pay very close attention!"
